Enter the Hidden Valley Bunker
Initiate Still in the Dark Side Quest
Perform a mandatory step in the side quest to prove your trustworthiness to the Brotherhood. The mandatory objective will require you to find a way to get rid of an NCR Ranger scouting the area. A collar will be attached to you that will explode if you travel away from the bunker.
After accomplishing this part of the side quest, you can go back to Mr. House's task, or you can fully complete the side quest for additional rewards.
Still in the Dark Side Quest Walkthrough
Get Veronica as a Companion
If you have Veronica as a companion, you will be able to explore the bunker freely. The Still in the Dark side quest can still be initiated, but it will skip the mandatory part explained above.
Veronica can become your companion easily by talking to her. She is located at the 188 Trading Post.

Deal with The Brotherhood
Activate Self-Destruct Terminal
You can activate the bunker's self-destruct terminal if you either have 100 Science or steal the keycards from the Head Paladin, Elder, and Head Scribe. Once you get the keycards, use the authorization terminal to the left of the self-destruct terminal to allow access.
People will become hostile as soon as the sequence is activated. Exit the bunker to complete the objective. There will be several people who will be able to follow you out, so be ready to fight or run.
Kill Everyone in The Bunker
Another option to deal with the Brotherhood is to kill them all yourself. However, there are a lot of them and they are heavily armed.
To make things easier if you want to go this route, you can hack their turrets to target their members. You can find the terminal in Paladin Ramos' office and you'll need 75 Science.
Return to Mr. House
Return to Mr. House and report the successful elimination of the Brotherhood to complete the quest. Mr. House will then offer your next task which starts the next main quest if you choose to accept it.

Complete The House Always Wins IV, then interact with Mr. House and accept your next task.
The House Always Wins V Best Choice
Complete Brotherhood Side Quests First
- Still in the Dark Side Quest
- Eyesight to the Blind Side Quest
- Tend to Your Business Side Quest
You can only do either Eyesight to the Blind or Tend to Your Business. Availability depends on your choices during the Still in the Dark side quest.
While not mandatory to complete this main quest, it is recommended that you complete the Brotherhood of Steel side quests before you eliminate them.
Completing the side quests, even joining the brotherhood, doesn't affect your task with Mr. House, so long as you eventually get rid of them. This way you get the rewards of the side quests.
