On the morning of Saturday, June 15th, a crash in Raleigh caused a power outage. As of 10:08 a.m., about 500 Duke Energy customers near South New Hope Road and Poole Road are without power, down from an earlier 1,800. The outage, reported around 6:30 a.m., was caused by a vehicle damaging equipment. Power is expected to be restored by 10 a.m.
